We would love your opinion as we are making plans to begin work on a new ebook.  We have ideas for 2 different ebooks but hope to make something that is of greatest needs to our readers.  So, which topic would you most benefit from?  If you have any additional comments or questions please leave those in the comments below.  Thank you.

I would like to see some Christian womanly advice to moms who end up losing their daughter to the world. How does a mom move on? Even if her daughter is with her dad (and they are divorced) and he is not a Christ follower…how and what do you do then? That is where I am and this is not a subject too many have advice on how to handle. I feel like a piece of me is missing and I can’t function properly.

    Christy,
My heart goes out to you. It will be a year this week since our daughter ran off with an ungodly young man. We have not seen her since, but know what state she is in. The grief can be overwhelming. Please know the Lord misses her too.
Do not give up! You can stand in the gap and intercede for her before the Father. You are in covenent with the Most High God. Search the scriptures and speak the word over her and the situation. The Word is the answer!
We also have found a devotional book, with prayers for such a situation. Can I give the title on this site? This book has helped my husband and I as we stand in faith for our daughter’s return. With God ALL things are possible!

My heart goes out to you both. I just miss my daughter that is loving the Christian college she is at. I can not begin to imagine your feelings. I will pray for you. I hope that Christ is able to get the book that Ann recommends.

    Hello Christy!
How are you? I’m sorry this took me so long… The name of the devotional is: “40 Days to Freedom- Prayers and Proclamations to Call Your Backslidden Children into Their Destiny” by LaNora Van Arsdall. This is the link (I hope I did it right)

    https://www.bridgebuilders.net/index.cfm/PageID/830/index.html

There are other books I would recommend, but this is a good one to start with.

Do you have anyone who can stand with you to believe God for the impossible? There have been days when my prayer partners had to pick me up when the grief was soooo hard to bear. There are only 2 other women I have battling alongside with my husband and I. We have learned the hard way to only link up in prayer with those who are on the same page, so to speak. We have received a lot of unsound advice from well-meaning people. The Lord impressed on us right from the beginning to not come into agreement with the enemy’s plans for our daughter- He graciously made this clear to us right after we had received advice from our Pastor, when we were too shell-shocked to even believe what had happened!!! He didn’t mean to give us bad council, but in retrospect it was what you would typically hear from the world… We believe the Word, and that’s it. I would be glad to pass along some Scriptures that we speak over her, if you like. But, I suggest to begin by looking up Scriptures in the concordance on “daughter” etc.

I am praying for you and your daughter…
    Ann

OOPS! One more thing! The author of the book (she was divorced also) went through this with both of her daughters and now each of them are in the ministry full time! What a testimony to the Faithfullness and Love of our Father!!!!!
