Hello Everyone!
Do you ever just feel down in the dumps? I have been suffering from that the past week or so. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong for a while, and then it hit me. I was being attacked, spiritually that is by Satan himself. Satan doesn’t want God to win; he doesn’t want God to be in control of my life. So, if he gets the best of me he knows I’ll be too upset to do God’s will.
This mood hit me in the area of my confidence. Think about your daughter. Does she struggle with issues of self-confidence and self-esteem? Most likely she does. It is a typical issue with tweens and teens. Be sure to be an encourager to your daughter boosting her self esteem often. Good boosts include encouraging her to participate in activities she loves. Whether that be singing, painting, a sport, or going on a rafting trip.
Another topic I encountered this week that is a toughie for teens is abstinence. I actually spoke on this topic on Saturday night. Talking to your teen about sex is important. Satan is after the hearts and lives of our young people and sex is one area of their lives, which he knows how to weasel his way into.
